Q1: Are Colored contact lenses more harmful to the eyes than the normal contact lenses to the eyes?

-The answer is No.

Colored contact lenses are indeed different from normal contact lenses, for its pigment layer design need it with a certain degree of sealing,that will reduce the oxygen permeability of the lens.

But for the harm of wearing colored contact lenses to the eyes, it is usually caused by choosing unsuitable material, not doing good regular inspection, wearing them for too long time, not wearing and taking off correctly and so on.

Q2:Which diameter of the lens should we choose when we try the colored contact lenses at the first time?

-For the ones who wear lenses at the first time, we recommend her to choose the lenses with diameter between 13.8mm ~ 14.2mm.
At the beginning, trying the lenses on eyes will be not easy, so we advise her to wear a smaller diameter firstly, then after a period of wearing time,she can try 14.5mm again.
For the girls with relative small eyes, we advise her not to wear the lenses with big diameter(like 14.5mm), for the big-diameter lenses on her eyes will not let eyes show up except the pupil.

Q3: Can the colored contact lenses be worn on eyes after it just taken out from the package?

No. The colored contact lenses can not be worn on eyes after it just taken out from the package. Because the solution in the package box is made from borate material,though it can be preservative for the lenses,wearing the lenses from the package directly will irritate the eyes.

We suggest her to put the lenses in the new dedicated care solution after take them out from the package, to soak and clean them for about 8 hours, then to try them on eyes. Even as with the daily lenses, we should also clean them according to this way,thus we can wearing lenses more safely.

Q4: Is the higher the water content of the color contact lenses, the better of the quality?

No. Usually, the colored contact lenses with short life cycle has higher water content than the colored contact lenses with long life cycle. For yearly lenses,the best water content percentage is 38%; for daily lenses, the best water content percentage range is from 50%~55%. If you’re the people whose eyes are very easy to be dry, you'd better choose the lenses with lower water content.
